  1. Wood working and eye hazards.

every day more than 1000 eye injuries happen in the workplace. They vary in many ways depending on how severe they can be BUT can be very easily avoided by following your health and safety.

ALWAYS make sure to have your eye protection

1 IMPACT hazards are one which is basically things flying at you or a kickback

2 HEAT hazards are injuries which are burns

3 CHEMICALS direct contact with chemicals are one of the leading causes to eye injuries .

4 DUST is the hardest to avoid and probably the most common thing to affect your eyes but again is easily preventable by wearing your eye protection.

5 OPTICAL RADIATION is working with tools that use lasers which can damage and even burn your eyes
